Abstract:The nutritional status of the elderly is closely related to the occurrence and development of many diseases. How to reduce the damage caused by surgery and improve the postoperative survival rate and quality of life in malnourished elderly patients is very important. Through analysis of perioperative risk factors for malnutrition in the elderly, we develop strategies for the prevention of perioperative-related risk factors, from preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative management of patients, to improve the patient's life.
