Abstract:Objective:To investigate the influence of emotional stability trait on the work adjustment of resident doctors and the mediating role of coping strategies, and to provide evidence for enhancing the work adjustment ability of resident doctors.Paying attention to the work adjustment of resident doctors is not only beneficial to their own development, but also beneficial to the overall improvement of hospital service level. Methods:A random sampling method was used to select 518 trained doctors from a university affiliated hospital in Heilongjiang Province from September 2023 to January 2024 as the research subjects. It explored the relationship among three variables:emotional stability traits, work adaptation, and coping strategies. The study used the Work Adaptation Disorder Scale,Emotional Factors Scale, and Trait Coping Style Scale to conduct an online questionnaire survey of trained doctors, and analyzed the data using SPSS statistical software. Results:Emotional stability was closely related to job adaptation and coping style, and its traits positively predict job adaptation(declarable 41.8%of the variance).Positive coping was positively related to emotional stability, while negative coping was negatively related.Coping style had a mediating effect, with positive mediating effects accounting for-5.90%of the total effect, and negative effects accounting for 18.10%.The direct effect was 87.70%.Conclusion:Coping styles play a partial mediating role in the influence of the trait of emotional stability on the work adaptation of resident physicians in standardized training. The trait of emotional stability can not only directly affect the work adaptation of resident physicians in standardized training, but also indirectly influence work adaptation by affecting individuals' coping styles.
