Abstract:Objective:The impact of the tendency, reinforcement, and facilitating factors(PRECEDE)intervention model on the rehabilitation status of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods:A total of 110 COPD patients admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to October 2023.A computer-generated random sequence was used and assigned to a control group(55 cases)and an experimental group(55 cases). The control group received routine clinical intervention, while the experimental group received PRECEDE intervention management. After the intervention,a one-year follow-up was conducted to compare the health cognition level, compliance behavior score, adverse prognosis, and lung function recovery of the two groups of patients. Results:Under different intervention modes, the experimental group scored higher than the conventional group in terms of COPD pathology knowledge, current treatment status, precautions during treatment, and personal management points, with statistically significant differences(t=3.102,3.318,3.668,3.056;P<0.05).The compliance behavior scores of the experimental group in terms of daily routine management, scheduled medication, active rehabilitation, and regular follow-up were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(t=3.241,3.333,3.326,3.164;P<0.05).During the follow-up period, the incidence of poor prognosis in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(x2=6.253;P<0.05).As of the end of follow-up,the first second forced expiratory volume percentage(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC),peak expiratory flow rate(PEF),6-minute walk test(6MWT)in the experimental group were all higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(t=2.575,6.407,3.858,3.707;P<0.05).Conclusion:The PRECEDE intervention model can improve the health cognition level and compliance behavior of COPD patients, and has a positive significance in reducing the risk of adverse prognosis and promoting lung function recovery.
