Abstract:Objective:To investigate the therapeutic efficacy of the combined application of camrelizumab and apatinib in advanced hepatocellular carcinoma and its impact on survival outcomes. Methods:A total of 80 patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma treated at Kaifeng Cancer Hospital from January 2021 to July 2024 were enrolled as study subjects.Patients were grouped based on treatment regimens, the control group(n=43)receiving apatinib, and the observation group(n=37)receiving apatinib plus camrelizumab.Clinical efficacy, survival outcomes, serum tumor marker levels, and adverse reaction incidence were compared between the two groups. Results:The 18-month and 24-month survival rates in the observation group were both higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The levels of Alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Combination therapy with camrelizumab and apatinib in the treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma demonstrates significant efficacy, effectively improving long-term survival outcomes for patients. It markedly reduces serum tumor marker levels and exhibits a high degree of treatment safety.
