Abstract:Objective:To explore the effectiveness of partial splenic embolization in traumatic splenic rupture and its impact on bleeding volume. Methods:A total of 70 patients with traumatic splenic rupture admitted to Guixi People's Hospital from January 2021 to June 2024 were divided into a control group and a study group by lottery, with 35 cases in each group. The control group was given open total splenectomy, while the study group was given partial splenic embolization. Both groups of patients were observed until discharge. The clinical efficacy after surgery, perioperative related indicators,T lymphocyte levels at 2 and 4 weeks after surgery, and complications during the study period were compared between the two groups. Results:The effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, the perioperative related indicators were all better than those of the control group, the incidence of complications was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were all statistically significant(P<0.05).At 4 weeks postoperatively, peripheral blood CD4+and CD4+/CD8+ratios in both groups increased compared to 2 weeks postoperatively, and the study group showed higher levels than the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.001).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of splenic artery interventional embolization is relatively good.It can shorten the postoperative recovery time, reduce the amount of bleeding, and has a relatively small impact on immune function and high safety.
