Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of meridian needling combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation(NMES)on lower limb muscle spasticity and muscle tone in stroke patients with hemiplegia. Methods:A total of 90 patients with stroke hemiplegia admitted to Nanyang Central Hospital were divided into 2 groups according to random number table method. The case selection time was from June 2021 to December 2023,with 45 patients in each group. The control group was treated with NMES intervention, and the observation group was treated with Jingjin acupuncture.Compare the treatment effects, lower limb function, lower limb muscle spasm status, muscle tone, and self-care ability between two groups. Results:The treatment effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.075,P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of lower limb muscle spasm in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the scores of lower limb motor function, balance function, muscle tension and self-care ability were higher than those in the control group, with statistical significance(t=3.635,6.685,16.026,9.991,8.095;P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Jingjin needling and NMES treatment is effective for stroke patients with hemiplegia, which is beneficial for improving the spasticity and tension of the lower limb muscles, promoting the recovery of lower limb movement and balance function, and enhancing the patients'self-care ability. It is worthy of widespread clinical application.
