The Implementation Effect of Anime Short Video Teaching Mode in Nephrology Internship Nursing Students under the Background of Course Ideology and Politics

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of implementing the anime short video teaching mode in the context of ideological and political education courses among nursing interns in nephrology.Methods:A total of 200 intern nursing students from Deyang People's Hospital from January to September 2024 were selected and divided into Group A and Group B according to the coin toss method,with 100 students in each group.Group A implemented the conventional teaching mode,while Group B implemented the animation short video teaching mode under the background of ideological and political education on the basis of Group A.The empathy ability of the two groups at the time of graduation was compared[evaluated using the Chinese version of the Jefferson Empathy Scale Nursing Student Edition(JSE-NS)],professional identity,skill assessment scores,and humanistic care ability[evaluated using the Humanistic Care Ability Evaluation Scale(CAI)].Results:At the time of graduation,the JSE-NS scores and total scores in group B were higher than those in group A(P<0.05);At the time of graduation,compared with the occupational identity score of Group A,Group B had higher scores(P<0.05);at the time of graduation,compared with the skill assessment score of Group A,Group B had higher scores(P<0.05).At the time of graduation,the scores and total scores of each dimension of CAI in Group B were higher than those in Group A(P<0.05).Conclusion:Implementing the animation short video teaching mode under the background of ideological and political education in the curriculum can help improve the empathy ability,professional identity,skill exam scores,and humanistic care ability of nursing interns in nephrology,and is worth learning from.
