Abstract:Objective:To analyze the magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and multilayer spiral computed tomography(MSCT)Lauge-Hansen classification evaluation and MRI diagnosis of ligament injury. Methods:A total of 100 patients with ankle fracture admitted to the First People's Hospital of Nanyang from January to October 2024 were selected as subjects, and MRI and MSCT were given to evaluate the Lauge-Hansen classification. Results:Among 100 patients with ankle fracture diagnosed by operation and pathology,88 cases were detected by MSCT and 97 cases by MRI.The detection rate of MRI(97%)was higher than that of MSCT(88%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Lauge-Hansen classification of 100 patients with ankle fracture diagnosed surgically and pathologically included 19 cases of pronation dorsiflexion,15 cases of pronation abduction,17 cases of supination adduction,26 cases of pronation external rotation and 23 cases of pronation external rotation. There were 27 cases of degree Ⅰ,38 cases of degree Ⅱ,24 cases of degree Ⅲ and 11 cases of degree Ⅳ.In the results of surgical and pathological Lauge-Hansen classification, the results of pronation dorsiflexion, pronation abduction and pronation adduction in MRI were higher than those in MSCT,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between pronation and postpronation(P>0.05).In MRI evaluation of Lauge-Hansen classification, the sensitivity was 98.91%,the specificity was 75.00%and the accuracy was 97.00%.Conclusion:Compared to MSCT,MRI showed a higher detection rate and sensitivity in the assessment of ankle fractures and Lauge-Hansen classifications, especially in the assessment of specific types of fractures, and could provide more specific diagnosis.
