Abstract:Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)combined with multislice computed tomography(MSCT)in prostate cancer. Methods:Selecting 96 prostate cancer patients treated at Dongtai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from October 2021 to September 2024 as the observation group and 90 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia during the same period as the control group. All patients underwent 3.0T MRI and multilayer spiral CT scans. The diagnostic value of the combined imaging techniques in prostate cancer was assessed by constructing Receiver Operating Characteristic(ROC)curves. Results:The peak time and enhancement amplitude were lower in the prostate cancer group compared to the control group, while the peak and enhancement rate were higher, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Relative blood volume(RBV),relative blood flow(RBF),and permeability surface(PS)were also significantly higher in the prostate cancer group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).ROC analysis indicated that the sensitivity and specificity of MRI combined with MSCT for diagnosing prostate cancer were 94.8%and 95.6%,respectively,with an area under the curve(AUC)of 0.964,which was superior to any single diagnostic test. Conclusion:The combination of MRI and MSCT demonstrates high sensitivity and specificity in diagnosing prostate cancer, surpassing the efficacy of each method used alone, thereby effectively improving the early diagnosis rate of prostate cancer and holding significant clinical application value.
