Application of Positive Psychological Intervention Combined with Doll-based Nursing Intervention in Patients with Moderate Alzheimer's Disease

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application of positive psychological intervention combined with doll-based nursing intervention in patients with moderate Alzheimer's disease(AD).Methods:A total of 86 moderate AD patients admitted to Zhoukou Central Hospital from January 2020 to December 2023 were selected and divided into control group(n=43)and observation group(n=43)according to the random number table method.The patients of control group were provided with conventional care,and the patients of observation group implemented positive psychological intervention plus doll-based nursing intervention.The psychological status[self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)],cognitive function[mini-mental state examination(MMSE)],dementia behavior[behavioral pathology in Alzheimer's disease rating scale(BEHAVE-AD)],daily living ability[activity of daily living scale(ADL)]and quality of life[quality of life for Alzheimer's disease(QOL-AD)]in these two groups were compared.Results:The observation group obtained better scores for psychological status,MMSE,BEHAVE-AD,ADL,and quality of life compared with the control group after intervention,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The combined approach of positive psychological intervention and doll-based nursing intervention demonstrates remarkable efficacy,which can effectively improve patients'psychological status and dementia behaviors,and enhance cognitive function,daily living ability and quality of life.
