Abstract:Objective:To explore the influence of American Academic Center for Evidence-based Practice(ACE)-Star evidence-based nursing model on postoperative rehabilitation and gastrointestinal recovery of patients with gastric cancer undergoing radical surgery. Methods:The clinical data of 46 patients who underwent radical gastrectomy in Jiujiang First People's Hospital from January to December,2023 were retrospectively analyzed. They were divided into two groups with 23 patients in each group according to different nursing schemes.Conventional nursing was applied in the control group, and ACE-Star evidence-based nursing was applied in the observation group. The postoperative rehabilitation, gastrointestinal recovery and complications of the two groups were compared. Results:The anal exhaust time, defecation time, bowel sounds recovery time and fluid intake time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After nursing, the levels of motilin(MTL)and gastrin(GAS)in both groups increased, while the level of vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP)decreased, and the level of observation group changed more than that of control group, the incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:The implementation of ACE-Star evidence-based nursing model can promote the postoperative rehabilitation of patients undergoing radical gastrectomy, accelerate the recovery of gastrointestinal function and reduce complications.
