Abstract:Objective:To explore the feasibility and effectiveness of the modified Xiaofeng Powder formula in alleviating side effects and enhancing the therapeutic outcomes of targeted drug therapy in lung cancer. Methods:A total of 72 lung cancer patients treated in the hospital from January 2019 to June 2023 were selected and randomly divided into control group(36 patients)and observation group(36 patients)using a random number table. The control group received topical treatment with compound dexamethasone acetate cream, while the observation group was treated orally with the modified Xiaofeng Powder. The treatment lasted for 30 days each.Serum biochemical markers, therapeutic efficacy and drug-related side effects were measured and compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results:After treatment, the observation group exhibited significantly lower serum levels of inter leukin(IL)-17 and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α compared to the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.001).The treatment efficacy was also higher in the observation group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Additionally,the dermatology life quality index(DLQI)score for quality of life was significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.001).Moreover,both the Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)and Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)scores were significantly reduced in the observation group relative to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The modified Xiaofeng Powder can serve as an effective adjunct treatment in targeted therapy for lung cancer, reducing drug side effects and enhancing overall therapeutic outcomes and quality of life.
