Abstract:Objective:To analyze the impact of various clinical factors on non-transferable embryo cycles in in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection-embryo transfer(IVF/ICSI-ET)and to explore potential causes of non-transferable embryos in IVF/ICSI-ET.Methods:Those cycles without transferable embryos due to various reasons among patients undergoing IVF/ICSI-ET treatment at the reproductive medicine center of the sample hospital from October 2019 to October 2022 were classified as the non-transferable embryo cycle group(98 cycles).Concurrently, cycles with transferable embryos after egg retrieval during the same period constituted the transferable embryo cycle group(2 943 cycles).Logistic regression analysis was performed to identify factors potentially influencing oocyte retrieval outcomes. Results:The group without transferable embryos showed higher female age, duration of infertility, proportion of male factors, and total Gn levels compared to the group with transferable embryos.Conversely, female AMH levels, basal follicle count,E2 on HCG day, follicle count on HCG day,and number of retrieved oocytes were lower in the group without transferable embryos. Conclusion:AMH has the greatest impact on cycles yielding no transferable embryos, followed by duration of infertility, age, proportion of male factors, number of retrieved oocytes, basal follicular count, and follicular count on the day of HCG administration.E2 levels on the day of HCG administration have the same effect as total Gn dosage. In IVF/ICSI-ET cycles, comprehensive analysis of these influencing factors and early initiation of appropriate treatment and adjustments can reduce the occurrence of cycles yielding no transferable embryos.
