Effect Analysis of Mosapride Combined with Proton Pump Inhibitor in the Treatment of Esophageal Reflux Pharyngitis

Abstract：Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of mosapride combined with proton pump inhibitors(PPIs)in the treatment of esophageal reflux pharyngitis.Methods:According to random number table method,72 patients with esophageal reflux pharyngitis in Zhengzhou Central Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University were selected as study objects and divided into PPI group(n=36)and combined group(n=36)between January 2022 and December 2023.PPI group received PPI rabeprazole treatment,the combined group received mosapride on the basis of PPI group,both groups of patients were treated for 2 months.The therapeutic efficacy of the two groups was assessed after treatment.Before and after treatment,esophageal dynamics indexes(resting pressure of LES,relaxation rate of esophageal sphincter,peristaltic contraction ratio)and pepsin level in the two groups were detected,score of reflux symptom index(RSI)and reflux finding score(RFS)were evaluated.Adverse reactions during treatment were recorded,and recurrence was followed up 3 months later.Results:The total effective rate of the combined group was higher than the PPI group,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).After treatment,the low esophageal sphincter(LES)resting pressure and peristaltic contraction ratio of the combined group were higher than those of the PPI group,while the esophageal sphincter relaxation rate,pepsin level,RSI score and RFS score were lower than those of the PPI group,all with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Three months after the end of treatment,the recurrence rate of the combined group was lower than the PPI group,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Mosapride combined with PPIs can significantly improve the clinical efficacy in sophageal reflux pharyngitis patients,increase LES resting pressure,reduce pepsin level,and lower the recurrence rate.
