Abstract:Myocardial ischemia-reperfusion is a commonly used method in clinical practice to improve myocardial ischemia, but it can cause further damage to the heart.Mitochondria are the main site for energy production, and improving mitochondrial energy metabolism in the myocardium can effectively treat myocardial ischemia. The role of mitochondria in improving myocardial cell reperfusion injury cannot be ignored. In recent years, research has found that the ability of mitochondria to improve myocardial ischemic injury is closely related to mitochondrial biogenesis, reactive oxygen species(ROS)generation, adenosine triphosphate(ATP)synthesis, mitochondrial calcium overload, mitochondrial autophagy mediated maintenance of mitochondrial quantity and function, providing energy and signal transduction to cells. It elaborates on the regulation of mitochondrial energy metabolism to improve myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury, providing new ideas for the future treatment of myocardial ischemia.
