The Effect of Holistic Nursing Supported by Evidence-based Theory on Coping Style and Pain Degree of Liver Cancer Patients with TACE

Abstract:Objective:To explore the specific impact of holistic nursing supported by evidence-based theory on patients with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)for liver cancer.Methods:From February 2022 to February 2024,90 liver cancer patients with TACE admitted to Luoyang Central Hospital were taken as the subjects,and all selected cases were randomly assigned to control group(n=45)and observation group(n=45).The patients of control group were provided with routine care intervention,and on this basis,the patients of observation group additionally took holistic nursing intervention supported by evidence-based theory.The comparisons were made on coping style,pain degree,psychological state and quality of life in both groups.Results:After the intervention,the scores of coping style,pain degree,psychological state and quality of life in the observation group were all better than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Holistic nursing supported by evidence-based theory can improve the coping style of liver cancer patients with TACE,relieve their pain,alleviate their negative emotions and improve their quality of life.
