Application and Observation of Electrocardiogram QRS Group Duration in the Assessment of Acute Myocardial Infarction

Abstract:Objective:To analyze the diagnostic significance of QRS complex duration in predicting clinical outcomes for patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI).Methods:A total of 90 patients with AMI admitted to Henan Yanjin County People's Hospital from June 2019 to June 2020 were selected as study subjects. After admission, ultrasound electrocardiogram(ECG)was performed immediately to evaluate the application of QRS duration of ECG in AMI patients. Results:Patients with Grade Ⅳ QRS complex duration exhibited the highest plasma N-termiral pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(N-proBNP)levels and lowest Left Ventricular Ejection Fractions(LVEF),followed by Grades Ⅲ,Ⅱ,and Ⅰ.Grade Ⅰ patients demonstrated the lowest QRS complex duration and N-proBNP levels, along with the highest LVEF,and differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Pearson linear correlation analysis confirmed a positive correlation between QRS complex duration and N-proBNP concentration(r>0,P<0.05),while a negative correlation was observed with LVEF(r<0,P>0.05).Regarding the incidence of malignant arrhythmias, patients in Grade Ⅳ had the highest rate, followed by Grade Ⅲ,Grade Ⅱ,and the lowest rate in Grade Ⅰ,and differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,no significant statistical differences were observed in cardiogenic shock, acute pulmonary edema,or mortality rates across different grading groups, with none statistical differences had none ly significance(P>0.05).Conclusion:QRS group duration can early identify patients with AMI,and can provide basis for the formulation of early treatment plan,so as to control the disease and improve the poor prognosis.
