Clinical Observation on the Treatment of Ischemic Stroke with Xiaoxuming Soup Combined with Six Meridian Dialectics with Modifications

Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Xiaoxuming soup combined with modified six meridian dialectics with modifications in the treatment of ischemic stroke.Methods:To observe the clinical effect of Xiaoxuming Tang combined with the six meridian dialectical method with modifications in the treatment of ischemic stroke patients.Method:80 patients with ischemic stroke admitted to Jiujiang First People's Hospital from January 2022 to October 2023 were randomly divided into two groups,with 40 patients in each group,using a random number table method.The control group received conventional Western medicine treatment,and on this basis,the observation group was treated with Xiaoxuming Tang combined with the Six meridian dialectics with modifications.Both groups of patients were intervened continuously for one month.Compare the clinical efficacy,neurological function,limb motor function,and daily living ability between two groups of patients.Results:Compared with the control group,the observation group had a higher overall effective rate of treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,compared with the control group,the observation group had lower National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)scores,higher Activities of Daily Living(ADL)scores,and Fugl Meyer Assessment(FMA)upper and lower limb scores,with statistically significant differences(P<0.001).Conclusion:The combination of Xiaoxuming soup and six meridian dialectics with modifications has a better therapeutic effect on ischemic stroke,which can promote the recovery of damaged nerve function in patients,improve limb movement ability,and enhance daily living ability.
