The Application Study of the Health Management Program Based on Disease Prevention in the Prediabetes Popula-tion in the Physical Examination Center

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application value of health management program based on disease prevention in pre-dia-betes in physical examination center.Methods:From April 2021 to March 2022,68 people who underwent health examinations at the Physical Examination Center of a tertiary hospital in Jingdezhen City and met the criteria for prediabetes were selected as the research subjects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into the control group(conventional interven-tion,34 cases)and the intervention group(intervention based on the health management plan for disease prevention,34 cases).Comparing the proportion of people with prediabetes who developed diabetes,the level of blood glucose control,the awareness of di-abetes knowledge,the level of self-management,and the quality of life between the two groups.Results:The rate of transformation into type 2 diabetes in the study group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).At 6 and 12 months after the intervention,the blood glucose levels of both groups decreased,while the awareness of diabetes knowl-edge,self-management and quality of life increased;the blood glucose level of the study group was lower than that of the control group,while the awareness of diabetes knowledge,self-management and quality of life were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The health management plan based on disease prevention can reduce the rate of prediabetes to type 2 diabetes in the physical examination center,improve the blood sugar level,improve the awareness of diabetes knowledge,self-management and quality of life.
