Abstract:Objective:To investigate the correlation between the expression levels of cell proliferation-associated antigen(Ki-67)and programmed death-ligand 1(PD-L1)in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)tissues and epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)mutations. Methods:A total of 155 patients with NSCLC admitted to Zhoukou Central Hospital from June 2022 to December 2023 were enrolled in this study.EGFR mutation status was analyzed, and expression levels of Ki-67 and PD-L1 were detected.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed to determine the correlation between Ki-67 and PD-L1 expression levels and EGFR mutation status. Results:Among 155 patients with NSCLC,EGFR mutations were detected in 77 cases.Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that weak ki-67 positivity(OR=2.275)and PD-L1 negativity(OR=2.778)were independent risk factors for EGFR mutation occurrence in NSCLC patients(P<0.05).Conclusion:The expression levels of Ki-67 and PD-L1 in NSCLC patient tissues are closely associated with EGFR mutations.Clinically,EGFR mutations in NSCLC patients can be identified by detecting weak Ki-67 positivity and PD-L1 negativity.
