Abstract:Objective:To analyze the expression levels of tumor abnormal protein(TAP)and tumor-associated molecules(TAM)in lung cancer patients and their relationship with prognosis. Methods:A total of 62 lung cancer patients admitted to the sample hospital between January and August 2023 were selected as the study group.Concurrently,62 healthy individuals were selected as the control group. The levels of TAP and TAM were compared between the two groups. The study group underwent a one-year follow-up,with the follow-up endpoint defined as the end of the follow-up period or the occurrence of death in the patient.Based on follow-up results, the study cohort was divided into a mortality group and a survival group, with clinical data between the two groups compared.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze risk factors affecting poor prognosis in lung cancer patients, while Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationship between TAP,TAM,and prognosis in lung cancer patients. Results:The TAP and TAM levels in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).10 patients in the study group were lost to follow-up,representing a loss-to-follow-up rate of 16.12%(10/62).Among the 52 patients,12 experienced death, resulting in a mortality rate of 23.08%(12/52).Compared with the survival group, the mortality group exhibited significantly higher levels of TAP and TAM,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in gender, age, body mass index(BMI),or pathological type between the mortality group and the survival group(P>0.05).Compared with the survival group, the mortality group had significantly higher levels of albumin and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),and a higher proportion of clinical stage Ⅲ-Ⅳdisease,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis revealed that TAP≥121 μm2,TAM≥295 U/mL,albumin<35 g/L,CEA≥5 μg/L,and clinical stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ were risk factors associated with poor prognosis in lung cancer patients(P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis revealed positive correlations between TAP and TAM levels in the study group and poor prognosis(P<0.05).Conclusion:TAP and TAM levels are abnormally elevated in lung cancer patients.TAP≥121 μm2,TAM≥295 U/mL,albumin<35 g/L,CEA≥5 μg/L,and clinical stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ are risk factors associated with poor prognosis in lung cancer patients.
