Observation on the Effect of Chinese Medicine Application Combined with Acupoint Application to Promote the Rehabilitation of Patients with Fracture

Abstract：Objective:To study the effect of Chinese medicine application combined with acupoint application intervention in fracture patients.Methods:A total of 92 fracture patients admitted to Zhumadian Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2021 to September 2023 were randomly assigned into the control group(n=46)and the observation group(n=46).The control group gave routine intervention,and the observation group was provided with Chinese medicine application and acupoint application intervention based on the control group.The limb swelling and pain degree,TCM symptom score,limb function,quality of life,complication rate and patient satisfaction between these two groups were compared.Results:The observation group had better scores of limb swelling and pain than the control group after intervention,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);compared with the control group,the observation group achieved better traditional Chinese medicine syndrome,limb function,and quality of life scores,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05);the observation group obtained lower incidence of complications and higher nursing satisfaction compared to the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Chinese medicine application and acupoint application nursing intervention could reduce the swelling and pain of fracture patients,facilitate the rehabilitation of limb function,and decrease complications,so as to enhance patients'satisfaction and quality of life.
