Abstract:Objective:To analyze the therapeutic efficacy of continuous renal replacement therapy combined with Xuebijing in patients with severe burn sepsis. Methods:A study was conducted on 34 patients with burn sepsis admitted to the sample hospital from January 2015 to December 2020.The patients were randomly divided into an experimental group(n=16)and a control group(n=18).The control group received conventional comprehensive treatment for burn sepsis, while the experimental group received conventional treatment supplemented with continuous renal replacement therapy and Xuebijing therapy. The age, gender, burn area, incidence of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome(MODS),and survival rates of the two patient groups were recorded.Venous blood samples were collected from patients before treatment and 3 days after treatment to measure the expression levels of albumin(ALB),C-reactive protein(CRP),serum prealbumin(PAB),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-1 β(IL-1β),and IL-6.Results:There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of gender, age,or total burn area(P>0.05).At 3 d post-treatment,ALB,CRP,PAB,TNF-α,IL-1β,and IL-6 levels of the patients showed significant improvement, and the experimental group demonstrated superior improvement effects for ALB,CRP,PAB,TNF-α,IL-1 β,and IL-6 compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences(t=3.66,8.45,6.22,2.28,2.96,3.47;P<0.05).The incidence and mortality rates of MODS in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(x2=4.16,2.24;P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of continuous renal replacement therapy with Xuebijing in patients with severe burn sepsis significantly improves acute-phase protein expression and inflammatory cytokine levels, reduces the incidence of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome(MODS),and enhances survival rates in burn patients.
