Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Maitland joint mobilization combined with focused extracorporeal shock wave(FESW)in treatment of patients with frozen shoulder. Methods:From February 2021 to December 2022,a total of 60 patients with frozen shoulder were selected, and the patients were randomly divided into control(n=30)groups and experimental group(n=30)according to the random number table method. The control group was treated using Maitland joint mobilization, and the experimental group added FESW therapy on this basis. The visual analog scale(VAS)for pain, the shoulder mobility score, the European shoulder Society score(CMS),and the shoulder pain and disability index(SPADI)were compared between the 2 groups before and after treatment. Results:After treatment,VAS,SPADI scores were all lower in the experimental group than in the control group,Constant-Murley Scale(CMS)and shoulder mobility scores were higher in the experimental group than in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.01).Conclusion:Maitland joint mobilization with FESW therapy for frozen shoulder is highly effective, which is worthy of clinical application.
