Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of neostigmine combined with low-frequency electrical stimulation on uri-nary retention after painless delivery. Methods:A total of 90 patients with postpartum urinary retention who received painless de-livery in Ganzhou People's Hospital from March 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects, and randomly divid-ed into Group A(received induced urination and hot compress therapy),Group B(received neostigmine treatment),and Group C(re-ceived neostigmine combined with low-frequency electrical stimulation),with 30 cases in each group. The clinical efficacy,residu-al bladder volume, autonomous urination time, comfort level and quality of life among these three groups were compared. Results:The total effective rate of treatment in Group C was higher than that in Group B and Group A,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the residual urine volume and the spontaneous urination time of Group C were shorter than that of Group A and Group B,the Kolcaba comfort scores and Generic Quality of Life Inventory-74(GQOL-74)dimensions scores of Group C were higher than that of Group A and Group B,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion:Neostigmine combined with low-frequency electrical stimulation could promote the spontaneous urination of the parturient with urinary retention after painless delivery, reduce the residual urine volume of the bladder, improve maternal postpartum comfort and quality of life.
