Abstract:Objective:To explore the treatment effect of using Xuesaitong combined with nifedipine controlled-release tablets on patients with cerebral infarction(CI)and hypertension,in order to guide the formulation of clinical treatment measures and promote the recovery of CI with hypertension patients. Methods:A total of 80 patients with CI and hypertension admitted to the hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were randomly divided into the control group(conventional treatment and nifedipine controlled-release tablets,40 cases)and the observation group(additional treatment with Xuesaitong based on the control group for 4 weeks,40 cases). The treatment effects of these two groups were compared after the 4 weeks of treatment. Results:After treatment, the National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS),barthel index(BI),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),systolic blood pressure(SBP),IMT and carotid plaque area of these two groups were significantly different, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the adverse reactions between these two groups were compared, the difference was statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination therapy of nifedipine controlled-release tablets and Xuesaitong could improve neurological function, lower blood pressure levels, reduce carotid plaque area, improve patients'daily living ability, and has high safety in patients with CI and hypertension.
