Abstract:Objective:To explore the correlation between unilateral neglect(USN)and daily living activities and quality of life in stroke patients. Methods:A total of 50 stroke patients from March 2022 to February 2023 who were admitted in Quzhou Tradi-tional Chinese Medicine Hospital,Beidahuang Group General Hospital were selected, and the severity of USN was analyzed. The correlation between the severity of stroke USN and daily living activity ability and quality of life was also analyzed. Results:Among 50 stroke patients, the Albert line segment elimination test scores were(23.85±3.28)points,the Schenkenberg bisection line segment test scores were(4.86±1.35)points,and the the Catherine Bogot scale(CBS)scores were(21.05±3.88)points.The Albert line segment elimination test scores were positively correlated with the improved Barthel index rating scale(BI)in all dimen-sions(r=0.825,0.768,0.811,0.784,0.805,0.803,0.799,0.795,0.782,0.779;P<0.05),while the Schenkenberg bisector line seg-ment test scores and CBS scores were negatively correlated with BI in all dimensions(r=-0.843,-0.851,-0.849,-0.855,-0.863,-0.826,-0.819,-0.832,-0.827,-0.833,-0.816,-0.820,-0.823,-0.818,-0.821,-0.905,-0.911,-0.904,-0.795,-0.803;P<0.05).The Albert line segment elimination test scores were positively correlated with the various dimensions in the the MOS item short from health survey(SF-36)scores(r=0.685,0.713,0.705,0.722,0.709,0.721,0.697,0.728;P<0.05),while the Schenkenberg bi-section line segment test and CBS scores were negatively correlated with various dimensions in SF-36 scores(r=-0.587,-0.605,-0.593,-0.595,-0.611,-0.615,-0.597,-0.613,-0.702,-0.713,-0.697,-0.682,-0.722,-0.716,-0.684,-0.722;P<0.05).Conclusion:There is a correlation between the severity of USN in stroke patients and their ability to perform daily living activities and quality of life. The more severe the USN,the lower their ability to perform daily activities and quality of life.
