Abstract:Objective:Investigation of residual symptoms and influencing factors in female patients with bipolar disorder(BD)after treatment. Methods:Selecting 100 female BD patients treated in our hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 as the research subjects, the patients were divided into an incidence group(n=30)and a non incidence group(n=70)based on whether residual symptoms occurred after treatment. The influencing factors of residual symptoms in BD patients were analyzed, and the correlation between different residual symptoms and the influencing factors related to residual symptoms was analyzed. Results:Among the 30 patients with BD who developed residual depression, the main symptoms were decreased work interest and mental anxiety, accounting for 43.33%and 33.33%respectively.The proportion of patients in the occurrence group with sleep disorders, the proportion of patients with≥3 episodes during treatment, the proportion of patients with cognitive impairment during episodes, and the proportion of patients who do not comply with medication were all higher than those in the non occurrence group, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=16.071,8.964,12.911,12.338;P<0.05).The results of logistic regression analysis showed that sleep disorders, frequency of seizures during treatment, presence of cognitive impairment during seizures, and medication adherence were relevant factor for residual symptoms in BD patients after treatment(OR=10.084,8.161,7.304,6.006;P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that BD patients with residual symptoms showed a positive correlation between decreased work interest and sleep disorders, and a positive correlation between guilt and the frequency of seizures during treatment and the presence of cognitive impairment during seizures. Conclusion:Female BD patients still have a high incidence of residual depressive symptoms after treatment, which is highly correlated with sleep disorders, the number of attacks during treatment, the occurrence of cognitive impairment during attacks, and medication compliance.Targeted interventions should be implemented for such patients on the premise of identifying relevant influencing factors to improve prognosis.
