Influence of Point Application and Auricular Point Pressing with Bean on Vertigo Symptoms in Patients with Vertigo Due to Cerebral Circulation Insufficiency

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the influence of point application and auricular point pressing with bean intervention in patients with vertigo due to cerebral circulation insufficiency.Methods:A total of 70 patients with vertigo due to cerebral circulation insufficiency admitted to Zhengzhou Second Hospital from July 2021 to July 2023 were taken as the subjects.All selected cases were randomly assigned to control group and observation group.The patients of control group were provided with routine care interference,and on this basis,the patients of observation group additionally took point application and auricular point pressing with bean nursing interference.The score of Chinese medicine syndrome,condition of vertigo,score of Dizziness Handicap Inventory(DHI),and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results:After intervention the observation group obtained lower TCM syndrome score than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);the observation group had better vertigo status compared with the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);the observation group showed better total DHI score,higher score of quality of life,and higher nursing satisfaction compared to the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The comprehensive intervention of acupoint application combined with auricular point pressing with bean can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with vertigo due to cerebral circulation insufficiency,reduce the incidence of vertigo and improve the quality of life.
