Exploration on the Application Value of Joint Detection of Serum Tumor Markers in the Diagnosis of Ovarian Cancer

Abstract：Objective:To analyze the diagnostic value of the joint detection of carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125),carbohydrate antigen 15-3(CA15-3),carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),and alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)in the diagnosis of ovarian cancer.Methods:A total of 90 suspected ovarian cancer patients,admitted to Zhumadian Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2022 to October 2023,were selected as tumor markers.According to the pathological results,the patients were divided into ovarian cancer group and benign group to compare the CA125,AFP,CA15-3,and CEA levels.Taking the pathological results as the standard,it analyzes the clinical value of CA125,AFP,CA15-3,CEA,and joint detection for the diagnosis of ovarian cancer,and the results were consistent with the standards.Results:Among the 90 suspected ovarian cancer patients,38 cases were found to be ovarian cancer,and the remaining 52 cases were benign lesions.The levels of CA125,AFP,CA15-3 and CEA in were ovarian cancer group were higher than the benign group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The sensitivity(97.37%),positive predictive value(94.87%),accuracy(96.67%),specificity(96.15%)and negative predictive value(98.04%)of the combined detection of CA125+AFP+CA15-3+CEA were all higher than CA125,AFP,CA15-3,CEA,CA125+AFP and CA125+AFP+CA15-3 detection,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The diagnosis result of CA125+AFP+CA15-3+CEA joint detection was consistent with gold standard(Kappa=0.932,P＜0.05).Conclusion:The accuracy and sensitivity of CA125+AFP+CA15-3+CEA in the diagnosis of ovarian cancer were relatively high,which provided more valuable reference information for distinguishing benign and malignant tumors.
