Study on the Application of Gentle Delivery Concept Combined with Free Position Management on Primipara

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect of gentle delivery concept combined with free position management on primipara.Methods:A total of 86 primipara delivered in Zhumadian Central Hospital from June 2021 and April 2023 were selected and randomly assigned to control group(n=43)and observation group(n=43).The control group implemented routine midwifery care,and the observation group implemented gentle delivery concept combined with labor free position intervention.The psychological status,degree of labor pain,delivery confidence,duration of labor,and pregnancy outcome of these two groups were compared.Results:The observation group obtained better psychological status and degree of labor pain than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=6.008,5.632,5.646;P＜0.05);the observation group had better score of delivery confidence than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=5.075,7.002;P＜0.05);the observation group demonstrated shorter delivery time in each stage than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=5.733,11.809,15.331,4.382;P＜0.05);the observation group achieved lower incidence of adverse reactions compared with the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.074,P＜0.05).Conclusion:Gentle delivery concept combined with the free position is used for the delivery of primipara,which can effectively relieve the negative emotions and pain of primipara,improve the delivery confidence,effectively shorten the labor process,and reduce the occurrence of adverse pregnancy outcomes.
