Abstract:Objective:To explore the application value of a staged intervention plan based on a timely model in patients undergoing oral cancer anterior lateral flap transplantation repair treatment. Methods:A total of 64 patients with oral cancer admitted to the Depart-ment of Maxillofacial Surgery at the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Nanjing Medical University between January and December 2023 and scheduled to undergo radical surgery for oral cancer with concurrent anterolateral thigh flap transplantation for reconstruction were selected, and divided into an experimental group(n=32)and a control group(n=32)based on their admission dates. The control group received conventional nursing care, while the experimental group received conventional nursing care supplemented by a staged inter-vention using a timely mode.Swallowing function, postoperative complication rates, and quality of life levels were compared between these two groups. Results:Compared with the control group, patients in the experimental group showed significant advantages:lower scores on the Watanabe drinking test, lower incidence of postoperative complications, and higher scores on all dimensions of the FACT-H&N scale(P<0.05),particularly in the physical, emotional, and functional dimensions, where the experimental group showed a particularly signifi-cant advantage. Conclusion:For patients undergoing oral cancer repair using an anterolateral flap, implementing a staged intervention plan based on a timely model after surgery could significantly optimize swallowing function rehabilitation outcomes, effectively control com-plications,and positively effect patients'quality of life.
