Abstract:Objective:To develop and validate a predictive model to assist clinical prediction of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)osteoporosis risk degree. Methods:Literature review was applied to construct the rick assessment scale for osteoporosis risk degree of COPD,and draw assessment scale.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the medical records of 617 patients with COPD in Respiratory Department of the Chengdu Sixth People's Hospital from October 1,2020 to December 31,2022 were selected, and randomly divided into the model set(400 cases)and the validation set(217 cases).Bone density T was measured according to the patient assessment scale.Based on SPSS 25.0 used as statistical analysis,linear-regression analysis was used to establish the prediction equation, draw calibration curve, perform external diagnostic verification, and evaluate the clinical validity of the prediction equation for osteoporosis of COPD.Results:The prediction equation for COPD osteoporosis risk degree:bone density T=0.510-0.367×the rick assessment scale score. The calibration curve of external verification is close to the standard curve, indicating that the prediction model is effective. Conclusion:The prediction model of COPD osteoporosis risk degree can early identify the possibility of osteoporosis in COPD patients, and make timely intervention to improve level of COPD complicated with osteoporosis.
