Abstract:Objective:To explore the influencing factors of postoperative sense of coherence(SOC)level in patients undergoing video-assisted mini-thoracotomy(VAMT)for lung cancer. Methods:A total of 90 patients who underwent VAMT surgery in the hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected to evaluate their SOC levels using the Psychological Consistency Scale(SOC-13).Results:The scale SOC-13 score of 90 VAMT patients was(43.85±6.18)points.There was a statistically significant difference in the SOC-13 scores of VAMT patients with different self-efficacy,monthly per capita household income, family care level, and education level, and the difference was statistically significant(t=5.016,6.797;F=32.151,19.624,P<0.05).According to multiple linear regression analysis, low monthly per capita income, low self-efficacy,low education level, and low level of family care are factors that affect the SOC level of VAMT patients(t=-3.871,-4.163,-3.585,-5.670;P<0.05).Conclusion:The SOC level of VAMT patients is relatively low, which may be related to their education level,self-efficacy,family care level, and monthly per capita income.Targeted intervention measures can be developed based on the above factors to improve the SOC level of VAMT patients.
