Relationship Between Changes in Electrophysiological Indicators and Cardiovascular Disease in Maintenance Hemo-dialysis Patients

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the relationship between changes in electrophysiological indexes and cardiovascular disease in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis.Methods:48 patients who underwent maintenance hemodialysis in the First People's Hospital of Jiujiang City from January to December 2022 were selected as the study group,and 48 patients diagnosed with stage 2～4 of chronic kidney disease during the same period were selected as the control group.The QTd dispersion,heart rate oscillation and ventricular late potential of the two groups were detected within 3 days after visiting.Repeated detections were conducted in the current month,3 and 6 months during the observation period,and the average value was taken as the reference value.Subsequently,the patients were followed up for one year,and the major adverse events of cardiovascular diseases were recorded.Results:The QTd dispersion of the observation group was greater than that of the study group,the turbulence onset(TO)index of the observation group was greater than that of the control group,the turbulence slope(TS)index was less than the control group,the positive rate of ventricular late potential in the observation group was greater than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=12.682,8.307,6.231;χ2=13.500;P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse cardiovascular events in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.909,5.315,4.360,6.008;P＜0.05).QTd dispersion,heart rate oscillation and ventricular late potential were positively correlated with the occurrence of cardiovascular diseases(r=0.246,0.284,0.308;P＜0.05).Conclusion:In patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis treatment,QTd dispersion,heart rate concussion and ventricular late potential index can change significantly,leading to the occurrence of various cardiovascular diseases.It is of great significance to apply QTd dispersion,heart rate concussion and ventricular late potential as a simple and non-invasive electrophysiological index for routine monitoring for clinical testing of maintenance hemodialysis patients.
