Effect of Compound Huangbai Liquid Combined with Wound Assessment Triangle Tool in Postoperative Wound Nursing of Children with Hypospadias

Abstract：Objective:To explore the nursing effect of compound Huangbai liquid combined with wound assessment triangle tool on postoperative wound of children with hypospadias.Methods:68 patients with hypospadias who received surgical treatment in the hospital from June 2023 to June 2024 were divided into study group(n=34)and control group(n=34)by the random number table method.The study group received compound Huangboi liquid combined with wound assessment triangle tool nursing+conventional surgical nursing,while the control group was given conventional surgical nursing.The postoperative recovery status(wound healing time,postoperative first ambulation time,postoperative first defecation time and hospital stay),and wound pain scores at resting state and dressing change state 7,14 and 21 days after surgery were compared.Results:The wound healing time,time to get out of bed for activities,time to first defecation after surgery and hospital stay of the children in the study group were all shorter than those in the control group,the differences were all statistically significant(t=3.656,4.765,2.452,3.523;P＜0.05).14 and 21 days after operation,the pain scores of the children in study group in the resting state and the dressing change state were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=4.749,17.215,3.735,10.257;P＜0.05).Conclusion:Compound Huangbai liquid combined with wound assessment triangle tool can effectively promote postoperative recovery of children with hypospadias,and reduce the wound pain.It can be applied to wound nursing.
