Study on the Function and Patient Satisfaction of Cast Porcelain Crown Restoration of Young Permanent Molars

Abstract：Objective:To evaluate the functionality,aesthetics and comfort of cast porcelain crowns in the restoration of young permanent molars,and explore the effectiveness of its clinical application.Methods:Through a prospective study,52 cases of young patient with extensive dental defect in pediatric Dentistry,Binzhou Medical Llniversity Hospital from January 2022 to July 2023 weve selevted as the study objects.Cast porcelain crowns were used to restore permanent molars,and data on chewing efficiency,appearance satisfaction,and comfort were collected through questionnaire.Results:Comparison of functional indicators before and after the restoration treatment of cast porcelain crowns showed statistically significant differences(t=-28.863,-6.974;P＜0.05).There was statistically significant difference in the satisfaction of adolescent patients with cast porcelain crowns in terms of color,shape and comfort after restoration(χ2=8.054,P＜0.05).Conclusion:Cast porcelain crowns can significantly improve the function of defective young permanent molars.enhance the oral health and overall quality of life of adolescent patients,and meet the needs of adolescent patients for dental aesthetics and comfort.It provides reference for the clinical selection and recommendation of cast porcelain crowns as a dental restoration plan.
