3D Printing Technology Combined with Hip Joint Replacement for Adjuvant Treatment of Crowe Ⅳ Adult Hip Dysplasia

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of 3D printing technology combined with hip joint replacement in the adjuvant treatment of Crowe Ⅳ adult hip dysplasia.Methods:The Crowe Ⅳ type adult hip dysplasia patients who were admitted in Puyang People's Hospital(Puyang 3D Printing Center)from June 2019 to June 2022 were retrospectively selected as the subjects of this study,including 100 patients who met the inclusion criteria.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into two groups:the control group(50 cases)used hip Joint replacement,and the experimental group(50 cases)used 3D printing technology combined with hip Joint replacement.The hip joint score(Harris score),pain visual analogue scale(VAS)scores,surgical time,and intraoperative bleeding volume of two groups before and 6 months after hip surgery were compared.Results:6 months after the operation,the Harris scores of both groups were higher than those before the operation,and the difference was statistically significant(t=60.210,57.920;P<0.05).6 months after operation,the VAS scores of both groups were lower than those before the operation,and the differences were statistically significant(t=37.020,42.110;P<0.05).The operation time of patients in the experimental group is shorter than that in the control group,and the intraoperative blood loss is less than that in the control group.The differences were statistically significant(t=13.170,40.950;P<0.05).No obvious pain recurrence,prosthesis loosening,prosthesis subsidence or total hip revision occurred in all patients during the follow-up.Conclusion:The application of 3D printing technology combined with hip joint replacement in the treatment of Crowe Ⅳ adult hip dysplasia can simplify the operation,shorten the operation time,and reduce the amount of intraoperative bleeding.
