Abstract:Objective:To investigate the prognostic effect of using intra aortic balloon counterpulsation(IABP)as an adjuvant therapy in critically ill patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI).Methods:A total of 90 critically ill AMI patients who met the research criteria were selected and divided into two groups:control group and observation group, with 45 patients in each group. On the basis of the same basic treatment and nursing intervention, the control group received PCI reperfusion therapy, while the observation group received IABP adjuvant therapy on this basis. The treatment effects and prognosis of the two groups were analyzed from three dimensions:treatment effectiveness, changes in vital sign indicators, and complications. Results:The effective rate of the observation group after treatment was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=10.150,P<0.05).After the treatment, the change results of each index in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=6.357,5.101,4.041,9.514,6.104,6.284;P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=7.780,P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of intra aortic balloon counterpulsation(IABP)as an adjuvant clinical treatment for critically ill AMI patients has significant effect. It not only improves the efficacy, but also improves various vital signs and reduces complications.
