Abstract:Objective:To investigate the value of glycan chain antigen 199(CA199),carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),glycan chain antigen 125(CA125)and alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)in the early diagnosis of primary liver cancer.Methods:82 cases of primary liver cancer patients and cirrhosis, corresponding to the liver cancer group and cirrhosis group, were selected from January 2022 to February 2024 in the hospital, and another 82 cases of healthy medical checkups in the same period were selected as the healthy control group. The serum levels of CA199,CEA,CA125 and AFP and the positivity rates of individual and combined tests among the three groups, and the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the four serum indexes in the diagnosis of primary hepatocellular carcinoma were compared by individual and combined tests. Results:The serum levels of CA199,CEA,CA125 and AFP in the liver cancer group were significantly higher than those in the cirrhosis group and the healthy control group(P<0.05).The positivity rates of the four serum indexes individually and in combination were also significantly higher than those in the cirrhosis group and the healthy control group(P<0.05).The positivity rates of the combination were significantly higher than those of the individual test in the liver cancer group(P<0.05).The diagnostic sensitivity and accuracy of the four serum indexes in the combined test were significantly higher than those of the serum indexes alone. Conclusion:The serum levels of CA199,CEA,CA125 and AFP are significantly elevated in patients with primary liver cancer. The combined detection of the above serum indexes can effectively improve the detection rate of primary liver cancer with high diagnostic sensitivity and accuracy.
