Abstract:Objective:To explore the efficacy of bronchoalveolar lavage with fiberoptic bronchoscopy combined with nebulized inhalation of terbutaline in the treatment of refractory mycoplasma pneumonia(RMPP)in children. Methods:A retrospective selection of medical records of RMPP patients in the hospital from February 2021 to January 2024 was conducted.Among them,43 patients who received bronchoalveolar lavage with fiberoptic bronchoscopy and combined treatment with terbutaline were selected as the combination group.According to the pairing principle,43 patients who received nebulized inhalation of terbutaline were selected as the reference group. The clinical efficacy, recovery time, forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume at 1 second(FEV1),hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs CRP),peak expiratory flow rate(PEF),procalcitonin(PCT),ferritin(SF),FEV1/FVC and adverse reactions between two groups were compared. Results:The clinical efficacy rate of the combined group was higher than that of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=6.081,P<0.05).The disappearance time of lung shadows, hospital stay, cough disappearance time, fever reduction time and rouli disappearance time in the combined group were all shorter than those in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.501,3.258,5.196,6.149,4.709;P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of FVC,FEV1,PEF,and FEV1/FVC in both groups of children increased. The levels in the combined group were higher than those in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=4.198,2.014,2.189,8.586;P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of hs-CRP,SF and PCT in the combined group were lower, and the differences were statistically significant(t=2.482,3.934,5.653;P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of bronchoalveolar lavage with fiberoptic bronchoscopy and nebulized inhalation of terbutaline can promote clinical symptom relief, improve lung function, inhibit inflammatory reactions, and ensure safety in children with RMPP.
