Abstract:Objective:To observe the impact of pain management under standardized evaluation on the physical and mental status of patients undergoing esophageal cancer radical surgery.Methods:95 patients with esophageal cancer admitted to The Second People's Hospital of Pingdingshan City from June 2020 to Junanary 2022 were selected as the study subjects. The patients were randomly divided into conventional group(47 cases)and standardized group(48 cases)using computer randomization. Both groups underwent radical surgery.Conventional group received routine perioperative management, and standardized group received pain management under standardized evaluation. The pain situation, psychological status, and quality of life of the two groups were compared. Results:After the intervention, the levels of substance P(SP),prostaglandin E2(PGE2),and nerve growth factor(NGF)in the standard group were all lower than those in the conventional group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.484,5.971,3.529;P<0.05).7 days and 14 days after the operation, the scores of the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)in the standard group were lower than those in the conventional group, and the scores of the Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)were lower than those in the conventional group. The differences were statistically significant(t=2.775,2.863,3.042,2.791;P<0.05).After the intervention, the scores of functional status(KPS)and quality of life(QOL-C30)in the standard group were higher than those in the conventional group, while the score of physical status(ZPS)was lower than that in the conventional group. The differences were statistically significant(t=2.390,3.842,2.379;P<0.05).Conclusion:Standardized pain management under evaluation has positive significance in improving their physical and mental state, and enhancing their quality of life.
