Correlation Analysis of Semen Analysis Parameters on Embryo Quality and Pregnancy Outcome of Infertile Couples Treated with IVF-ET

Abstract：Objective:To analyze the correlation between semen analysis parameters and embryo quality and pregnancy outcome in couples treated with IVF-ET.Methods:277 couples with infertility in the hospital from January 2022 to January 2024 were selected as the research objects.Semen parameters were routinely detected and analyzed,and were divided into high-quality embryo group and non-high-quality embryo group according to embryo quality.Semen analysis parameters of the two groups were compared,and then divided into pregnant group and non-pregnant group according to pregnancy outcome.The correlation between semen analysis parameters and embryo quality and pregnancy outcome of infertile couples treated with IVF-ET was analyzed.Results:The normal sperm morphology rate(NSMR)and forward motile sperm rate(PR)in the non-high-quality embryo group were lower than those in the high-quality embryo group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=1 1.506,10.117;P＜0.001).Among the semen analysis parameters,NSMR and PR were related to embryo quality(OR=0.144,0.829;P＜0.05).The NSMR and PR in the non-pregnancy group were lower than those in the pregnancy group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=10.856,9.377;P＜0.001).Among the semen analysis parameters,NSMR and PR were related to the pregnancy outcome(OR=0.157,0.846;P＜0.001).Conclusion:NSMR and PR in semen analysis have significant correlation with embryo quality and pregnancy outcome of IVF-ET treatment.
