Abstract:Objective:To observe the effects of oxazepam and lorazepam in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder, and their influence on event-related potential P300(ERP-P300)and eye movement measurements.Methods:60 patients with generalized anxiety disorder who were admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to January 2024 were selected.Through using a table of random numbers, the subjects were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group took lorazepam orally,0.5 mg/12 h,while the observation group took oxazepam orally,15 mg/8 h.Both groups underwent 6 weeks of continuous treatment.Therapeutic effects,ERP-P300,exploratory eye movement(EEM),liver function and the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were observed. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.320,P<0.05).After treatment, the latency of P3 in the observation group was significantly shortened, and the amplitude of P3 was lower than that in the control group. The differences were statistically significant(t=2.044,4.270;P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of Gaze points(NEF)and Reactive Exploration score(RSS)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=2.195,5.194;P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of alanine aminotransferase(AST)and aspartate aminotransferase(ALT)in the observation group were both lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=2.079,2.047;P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.711,P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with lorazepam, oxazepam is more effective in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder. It can significantly improve EEM and ERP P300,with less influence on liver function and higher safety.
