Effect of Tanshenqing Injection in Treating Acute Exacerbation of COPD with Diabetes Mellitus and Acute Lower Respiratory Tract Infection

Abstract：Objective:To systematically analyze the effect of tanshenqing injection in the treatment of acute exacerbation of COPD complicated by type 2 diabetes mellitus and acute lower respiratory tract infection.Methods:A total of 110 consecutive patients with COPD exacerbation complicated by acute lower respiratory tract infection with type 2 diabetes were selected for the study,the selection time frame was from April 2023 to April 2024,and the patients were divided into the control group versus the study group according to the"difference in treatment modality",with 55 patients in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with musutan injection,and the study group was treated with tanshenqing injection on the basis of the control group.The effects,pulmonary function indicators,clinical symptoms,time to improvement of signs,blood gas indicators(PaCO2 vs PaO2)as well as adverse effect rates were systematically analyzed.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=7.040,P＜0.05).After the treatment,the pulmonary function indicators of the study group were all higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.158,3.287,2.317;P＜0.001).After treatment,the improvement time of fever,the improvement time of cough and expectoration,the improvement time of wheezing and the disappearance time of pulmonary rural sounds in the study group were all shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=13.150,6.276,8.912,13.872;P＜0.05).After the treatment,the blood gas index in the study group increased compared with that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=2.988,4.601;P＜0.05).The adverse reaction rate in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.444,P＜0.05).Conclusion:Tanreqing injection can actively improve the therapeutic effect of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with acute lower respiratory tract infection.It can effectively improve pulmonary function indicators and blood gas indicators,reduce the rate of adverse reactions,and shorten the improvement time of clinical symptoms and signs.
