Abstract:Objective:To investigate the predictive value of combined detection of serum levels of carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)and serum ferritin(SF)for the effect of chemotherapy in patients with lung adenocarcinoma. Methods:A total of 160 patients with lung adenocarcinoma treated in the hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as the research object, and they were divided into the treatment effective group(109 cases)and the treatment ineffective group(51 cases)according to different clinical efficacy after three courses of treatment. The clinical general data of the two groups were compared, the serum levels of CEA,LDH and SF at admission and after 1 course of treatment were also measured;partial regression analysis was used to analyze the correlation between serum indicators and treatment effect, and to analyze its predictive value for treatment ineffectiveness. Results:There was statistically significant difference in lymph node metastasis between the two groups(χ2=10.348,P<0.001).The levels of serum CEA,LDH and SF in the ineffective treatment group at admission and after one course of treatment were higher than those in the effective treatment group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=11.861,27.542,17.643;P<0.05).The results of logistic regression analysis showed that serum CEA,LDH,and SF at admission and after one course of treatment were correlated with the therapeutic effect(OR=2.180,2.640,2.151,2.418,2.711,2.908;P<0.001).The combined AUC of serum CEA,LDH and SF levels at admission and after one course of treatment for predicting ineffective treatment was 0.763 and 0.822,respectively.Conclusion:Serum levels of CEA,LDH and SF are correlated with lung adenocarcinoma patients, and can effectively evaluate the clinical efficacy of patients, which provides reference for clinical evaluation of chemotherapy efficacy in lung adenocarcinoma patients.
