Abstract:Objective:To investigate the predictive value of serum receptor1(chemokine CX3C ligand 1)and CD14(lipopolipaccharide signaling receptor)levels for acute pulpitis emergency(EIAE)during root canal therapy.Methods:90 patients with acute pulpitis who underwent one-time root canal treatment in Stomatology Department of the hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected. They were divided into EIAE group and normal group according to whether emergency occurred during root canal treatment. The serum CX3CL1 and CD14 levels of the two groups were compared. The relationship between the serum CX3CL1 and CD14 levels, and the occurrence of ELAE was analyzed by logistic regression.Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)was drawn to analyze the predictive value of serum CX3CL1 and CD14 in the occurrence of acute pulpitis during root canal treatment. Results:Serum CX3CL1 and CD14 levels in EIAE group were significantly higher than those in normal group(t=3.396,3.458;P<0.05).Logistic analysis showed that increased levels of serum CX3CL1 and CD14 were independent risk factors for EIAE in patients with acute pulpitis(P<0.05).ROC curve showed that the areas under the curve of serum CX3CL1 and CD14 levels were 0.669,0.698,the sensitivity was 66.5%,68.5%,and the specificity was 64.2%,67.3%.The area, sensitivity and specificity of the combined prediction were 0.803,85.5%and 76.5%,respectively.Conclusion:Serum CX3CL1 and CD14 levels are closely related to the occurrence of EIAE in patients with acute pulpitis, and the detection of CX3CL1 and CD14 levels before root canal treatment is helpful to predict the occurrence of EIAE in advance.
