Therapeutic Effect of Ear Point Pressing Beans Combined with Rhubarb Retention Enema on Abdominal Pain and Bloating in Patients with Acute Pancreatitis and the Influence of Inflammatory Factors

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect of ear point pressing beans combined with rhubarb retention enema on abdominal pain and bloating in patients with acute pancreatitis(AP)and the influence of inflammatory factors.Methods:80 AP patients admitted to the hospital from January to August 2023 were selected,and randomly divided into two groups,with 40 patients in each group.The control group received routine Western medicine treatment,while the observation group received ear acupoint pressure bean combined with rhubarb retention enema on this basis.The symptom relief time,serum amylase,white blood cell and neutrophil content,and inflammatory factor levels between the two groups were compared.Results:The effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.165,P＜0.05).The relief time of each symptom in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=8.893,13.626,13.071,13.451,13.857;P＜0.001).After 7 days of treatment,the contents of serum amylase,white blood cells and neutrophils in both groups decreased,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the observation group.The differences were statistically significant(t=13.865,7.085,9.104;P＜0.001).After 7 days of treatment,interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP)and procalcitonin(PCT)in both groups decreased.The levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=13.418,19.985,26.575;P＜0.001).Conclusion:Auricular point pressing combined with retention enema of raw rhubarb has a better effect in the treatment of patients with AP.It can relieve symptoms such as abdominal pain and abdominal distension,and improve the levels of serum amylase and inflammatory factors.
