Study on the Correlation Between Binary Coping,Intimate Relationship and Quality of Life in Patients of Reproductive Age with Cervical Cancer Undergoing Radiotherapy and Their Spouses

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of dual coping and intimate relationship on quality of life in patients with cervical cancer radiotherapy and their spouses in childbearing age.Methods:Patients with cervical cancer who received radiotherapy in Nanyang Central Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 and their spouses were selected as the research subjects.General information questionnaire,Binary Coping Summary,Short Health Questionnaire and Marriage Adjustment Scale were adopted for the investigation.Results:The binary coping score of patients(102.92±6.25)was higher than(102.79±7.01)of spouses(P>0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that patients'binary coping was positively correlated with spouse binary coping,intimate relationship and quality of life(P<0.05).The results showed that both patients'and spouses'binary coping and intimate relationship positively predicted their own quality of life(P<0.05).Conclusion:Medical staff should formulate positive dual coping intervention strategies centered on couples to enhance the level of marital adjustment and improve the quality of life for both spouses.
