Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effects of i-Root SP and AH-PLUS paste on patients undergoing minimally invasive root canal treatment.Methods:71 patients who underwent minimally invasive root canal treatment in the hospital from January 2021 to November 2023 were randomly divided into two groups. The control group received AH-PLUS paste treatment, and the study group received i-Root SP treatment. The clinical efficacy, filling condition, pain level and inflammatory factors of the two groups were analyzed. Results:There was no statistically significant difference in the clinical efficacy and filling status assessment between the study group and the control group(χ2=0.486,0.111,0.001,0.001;P>0.05).24 hours after operation, the degree of pain in the study group was lower than that in the control group.7 days after operation, there was no statistically significant difference in the degree of pain between the two groups of patients(t=2.437,0.164;P>0.05).The inflammatory factors in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=7.954,3.631;P<0.001).Conclusion:The application of the new biomaterial i-Root SP in minimally invasive root canal treatment for patients has good effect, which can reduce inflammation and postoperative pain.
